The Electoral Committee

  1. The Department of Campus Life will form a committee to oversee the Student Council elections a month before they begin.
  2. The committee will consist of three individuals chosen from the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Departments.
  3. The Electoral Committee duties and responsibilities mainly include:
    1. Determining and announcing application dates and deadlines;
    2. Reviewing and assessing submitted applications;
    3. Publicizing the final list of candidates;
    4. Attending and scoring speeches and debates presented by candidates;
    5. Determining election dates, duration and location;
    6. Overseeing the implementation and integrity of the election process.
