Eng. students Visit to Ras Tanura refinery plant

The Mechanical Engineering Department and the ASME-PMU chapter students visited Ras Tanura refinery plant. The students acquired knowledge on different machining equipment such as Lathe, drilling, and CNC machines. A testing of pressure relief valve was demonstrated in which the students learned all about the safety regulations and testing procedures. In addition, students attended the exhibition show where different components and sections of turbo machinery units were displayed. The visit was coordinated with the Department of Campus Life.
