After winning as the best player under 30 years old in the previous Chess Saudi Championship (2016), our young talented student Umar Malik, was selected with 5 other players from Saudi to represent Saudi Arabia during the international tournament held in Kuwait, 2016. this was followed by a game against the Kuwait team where the Saudi team won this game (score: 8-7).
