Welcome to the Student Affairs Wellness day 2015

The Fitness First Club will help conduct the various activities. To perform the health appraisals nurse/trainers will conduct biometric measurements using basic equipment and will then have to provide recommendations to the students on better lifestyle habits. The team has offered to provide equipment (e.g. body composition analyzer). Steps below.

  1. Booth - Wellness Clinic Table

    Knowing Your Numbers! (Blood pressure, BMI, Heart rate, Oxygen Saturation) – demonstrations  are given covering biometric measurements such as blood pressure, body composition fat analysis, heart rate, stress levels.
    Initial Screening – To medically clear any absolute or relative contraindication to physical activity, participant’s needs to go through required test including blood pressure, heart rate and body composition analysis.
    Plus first aid training course with actual hands-on
  2. Physical Test

    – Series of training and work- out to be conducted by the Fitness First Experts.
  3. Competition Booth

    – such push-up competition and  other stamina related work out
  4. Booth – Smoking Free Event

    A run for a Smoke Free University with the slogan “Feel the Beat of Summer Heat and Feel Free from cigarette heat.
    At 3PM in collaboration with Running Clubs
  5. Booth - Healthy Weight for Life Table staff

    Demonstration on healthy food recommendations with healthy food samples and calories.Healthy food refreshment and snacks to be served.
  6. Booth Carlton Healthy food

    For your comfort please wear casual sports clothes with sports shoes.
